Calendar: Fall 2005 - 2006 academic year. September 2005 - June 2006.

To allow for maximum student flexibility, enrollment for the Atelier Program is month to month, so students may register monthly as their schedule permits. However, since the space in this program is limited to no more than 24 students (12 in sculpture and 12 in painting), students are advised to apply as early as possible to secure their place in the program.

Admissions:

Atelier applicants are asked to submit a portfolio of work such as drawings and/or paintings for painters and sculpture and drawings for sculptors. The work should be done from life. Artwork may be presented by slides, photos, digital images or by showing it in person. Please call us at (718) 937-1300 to arrange for portfolio review. We consider not only the quality or promise inherent in the portfolio but the individual's commitment to pursuing art and the desire to learn.

Studio Key Policy:

Atelier students are issued keys for using the studios during uninstructed classes which is a special privilege. Bridgeview School requires a payment of $20 deposit to be returned once the keys are given back to the school.
