Structural Diagrams done by Russian artists to help students understand the structure and movement of the human body.

In Russia and former Soviet countries, the typical way of teaching drawing is for an instructor to draw a small-scale structural diagram in the corner of the student's drawing. These diagrams help explain the structure, anatomy and movement relating to the specific model.

This is also a typical approach at Bridgeview of teaching drawing along with verbal explanations.
