Academic Drawing
Solid drawing
skills make a good foundation for all art forms and
genres. By understanding anatomy and perspective and
mastering linear, stroke and value-based techniques
students attain freedom to accurately portray any subject
in two-dimensional or three-dimensional space. The
drawing assignments are designed in conjunction with the
painting assignments.
Level 1
Typical drawing
assignments may include:

still life with simple white objects and drapery
