Among Gerrman's most important commissions are the Monument to World War II Victims in Siberia, life-size equestrian monument in Belarus, a composition of eight life-size figures for the Athletic Center of the city of Perm. In 1993 Gerrman completed a Lester Levy Humanitarian Award, of which U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski of Maryland became the first recipient. In 1994 his "Crying Violin" sculpture became the International Elie Weisel Holocaust Remembrance Award.
