Michael Kachman
(born in 1970)
Michael Kachman studied painting and theater design at the St. Petersburg State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema. He worked as a set and costume designer at a variety of theaters in Russia, and is currently a set designer at the Classika theater in Arlington, Virginia. He is also a tenure professor at the Department of Theater Arts of the St. Mary's College in Maryland. Kachman works in a variety of media including oil painting, pen and ink drawings, and etchings. He is represented by the Avantguarde gallery of Washington DC.
