Winner of the 1997 C. Percival Dietsch Sculpture Award, National Sculpture Society, New York. National Award for equestrian monument to Ukrainian national hero G. Kotovsky. Patrov's sculpture "Leda and a Swan" adorns the central hall of the Strasbourg European Parliament building in France. In the U.S., exhibits through the National Sculpture Society. Has thirty years of teaching experience as a tenure professor of sculpture at the Grekov Academy of Art in Odessa, Ukraine.
