Academic Sculpture

"Don't look
for superficial movement but hidden, inner
movement, which is the most full and
beautiful".
- Leonid Lerman, Bridgeview founder.
In the course of this program
students will learn to see and portray man-made
and organic objects as well as the human figure
as sculpture. They will learn to understand the
three-dimensional form by focusing on such
essential issues as construction, proportions,
balance, weight and tension of masses, the
connection of individual parts and their harmonic
unity.
