Please note that for these ages the groups are very small. We can only take 6 students per group as they require much more attention from the teacher than groups for older ages. Students work both from observation and imagination learning classical concepts and techniques of painting and drawing. Materials may include pencil, markers, pastels, acrylic paints and pen and ink. This is the age when they are starting to transition from flat depiction of objects to more dimensional work. Perspective, tone, design elements, color harmony and volume will be explored. Students draw and paint still life setups and also copy from the Old Masters.Tuition: $650 for 12 weeks of classes including all professional-grade materials.
