Beginner or Intermediate Drawing

Bridgeview is a classical atelier school, meaning it follows the traditional European studio model: a rigorous, sequential curriculum where students progress from still‑life drawing to plaster casts, then to portrait, figure, and finally painting from life, all under close, skill‑focused guidance from master instructors.

Working from simple still life setups students will learn the fundamentals of drawing. Step-by-by-step instruction in building the form through line and value will be given. Individual critiques covering the basics of drawing such as proportions, value, construction and perspective will be offered. No experience necessary.
